Business Development & Brand Growth Manager - Salary 40k + depending on experience. Plus bonus.
(UK & International | Trade Show, Online and Social Media – Led Growth)

PoM is entering a growth phase that requires external visibility, structured business development, and modern commercial thinking.

This role owns:

All aspects of Trade Show exhibiting (UK & international)

New business development across UK and overseas wholesale & retail

Online retail and wholesale strategy

Introduction and commercialisation of social media marketing & sales

This is a hands-on, outward-facing role. You will be the brand in the market.

Core Responsibilities

1. Exhibitions & Trade Shows (Full Ownership)

You will have end-to-end responsibility for all exhibiting activity.

This includes:

Identifying and recommending relevant UK (4) & international (4) trade shows

Budget ownership and ROI justification

Stand planning, logistics, merchandising and pre-show planning

Personal attendance at all agreed shows (UK & overseas)

Lead capture, follow-up strategy and conversion tracking

Post-show reporting with clear commercial outcomes

You are expected to lead from the front, not delegate visibility.

2. Business Development - UK & International

You will be responsible for opening new doors.

This includes:

Proactively identifying UK and international wholesale & retail prospects

Conducting first meetings (in person, at shows, or remotely)

Presenting the brand, ranges, and commercial proposition

Converting qualified prospects into live accounts

Handing accounts into internal management once established

This role is about pipeline creation and conversion, not account maintenance.

3. Online Retail & Wholesale Strategy (Project Ownership)

You will own and project-manage the brand’s online commercial strategy.

This includes:

Reviewing and shaping DTC online retail performance

Evaluating online wholesale platforms and partnerships

Recommending pricing, channel strategy and positioning

Working with internal teams and external partners to execute strategy

Tracking performance, learning fast, and adjusting strategy

You are not expected to code - but you are expected to lead.

4. Social Media Marketing & Product Sales (Introduction & Rollout)

This role will introduce, test, and commercialise social media as a sales channel.

This includes:

Defining how social media supports brand growth and product sales

Identifying platforms, content styles and commercial opportunities

Working with internal or external creators/partners where appropriate

Testing shoppable content, launches, and campaigns

Measuring what actually sells - and doubling down on it

This is about sales impact, not vanity metrics.

Social channels contributing to awareness and revenue

Internal teams supported, not overwhelmed

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Owner / Director.

Works closely with Operations, B&M, Sales, Website and Online Admin.
