POM'S SCARF LOOKBOOK
With the temperature set to drop next week, the POM team have been snapping up their favourite scarves. It’s fair to say that each of us own a healthy (extensive) collection of scarves and with every new season comes an abundance of new designs that we just can’t resist. This season brought us pom-poms, new metallics and super soft knits to take us right through to spring, it also brought the need for some additional scarf storage at home!
Not only have we been choosing our personal favourites from this collection we've also been exchanging tips on styling to make the best of this season's most versatile accessory, so we thought we'd share them with you.
1. THE HEADSCARFThis style tip takes its inspiration from the 60’s with a retro beatnik vibe. Our lovely model rocks this look with a short bob but it’s great with any length hair. Simply fold a narrow scarf lengthways to the desired width, place the centre of the length against your forehead and tie the ends at the nape of your neck. Tie in a knot and drape the long ends or tie in a bow for shorter styles.
2. THE LOOP THROUGHThis is the style we use the most and it’s so easy to wear. Just grab both ends of the scarf in one hand and hold the looped end in the other. Place the middle of the length at the back of your neck, bring both hands to the front and pass the ends through the loop. Easy!
This one’s great for shorter hair and up do’s. Fold the scarf lengthways and wrap around your neck, once or twice depending on how long your scarf is. Then simply tie with your bow set slightly off centre. Fine scarves are best for this style and here we’ve used a printed silk scarf.
